Education & Credentials
After graduating from the University of Nairobi in 1998, Dr. Ezekiel Oburu obtained a Master’s in General Surgery from the same institution in 2004. He then proceeded to train in orthopaedics in the west of Scotland and obtained a Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in Orthopaedics and Trauma in 2011.
He then attended a fellowship in Hip and Knee reconstructions in Adelaide Australia before returning home to Kenya. It is then that he decided to specialize in foot and ankle surgery as this service was not available locally.
He attended a fellowship at the Institute of Foot And Ankle Reconstructive Surgery in Baltimore, U.S.A. There he trained under Dr.Mark Myerson in 2016.

Dr. Ezekiel Oburu is a lecturer with the University of Nairobi and is actively involved to teaching both undergraduates and post graduate students.
He specializes in treating patients with fractures, hip and knee arthritis and knee arthroscopy. In the foot he addresses fractures,sports related injuries, bunions, hammer toes, arthritis and flat feet.
